Martha M. Kuhar Kobaly – Belle Vernon

Martha M. Kuhar Kobaly, 90, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born July 28, 1930, in Brownsville, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kuhar. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 75 years, Mrs. Kobaly was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Kobaly always donated to and supported the Little Sisters of the Poor and the Girls and Boys Clubs, enjoyed traveling with her husband, Michael, and was like a mother to her nieces and nephews and will be missed by all. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary Beth Hunter, Amey Louise Hunter, Steven Charles Hunter and Bonnie Kline; great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Elisabeth Spotts, Jennifer Lynn Mullins, Andrew Michael Melodia, Dylon Harrison Hunter and Griffin McKenzie Hunter; great-great-niece Melodee Marie Mullins; and a great-great-nephew, Landon Scott Mullins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael “Al” Kobaly in 2004. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in LaFayette Memorial Park.  In accordance with state mandates, masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
