Freddy Fundy, 26, of Fredericktown, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at Washington Hospital, Washington. Born Sept. 12, 1994, in Monongahela, he was the son of Fred S. and Denise R. Caputo Fundy of Fredericktown. A lifelong resident of Fredericktown, Freddy was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, a graduate of Beth Center High School, Class of 2013, had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, off-road riding with his motorcycle and side by side and working with his hands. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dominic Fundy, at home; paternal grandparents, Fred and Elizabeth “Betty” Fundy of North Belle Vernon; maternal grandmother, Janet Caputo of Brownsville; aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Steven Utterdyke, John and Carrie Fundy, Mary Ann and John Fuhry, Joanne and Jeff Jones, Susan and Tim Donaldson; and cousins, Meghan, Jay, Tyler Tim, Liz, Neal, Sami and Michelle. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Caputo. Visitation will be private for the family. Relatives and friends are invited to gather directly at St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021, for a funeral Mass with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
