Ruth N. Creevey – Donora

Ruth N. Creevey, 93, of Donora, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Born in North Charleroi on June 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late August M. and Odell L. Smith Painter. Ruth enjoyed going to the Donora Senior Citizen Center and liked to play bingo. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Becky) Creevey and William Creevey; grandsons, Robert Creevey and Tim Creevey; and brother, Walter Painter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Creevey; and son, Robert Creevey. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 9. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery. Everyone attending the visitation and services must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Only 40 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
