Ronald M. Sutton, 92, of Floreffe, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. He retired as a truck driver for Mon River Supply in West Elizabeth and was a former employee of Firth Sterling in McKeesport. Born Dec. 3, 1928, in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Clarence and Helen Frye Sutton and husband of the late Angela M. Fazio Sutton. He is survived by his daughter, Janet (Joseph) Bonacci of Elizabeth Township; son, John (Marty) Sutton of Butler; stepdaughter, Dana Biles of Elrama; grandchildren, Maria Bonacci, John David Sutton and Meagan Knapp; step-grandchildren, Ed Barrickman, Donna Bleil, Paula Rende, Darlene Jeffers and Daniel Biles; great-grandchildren, including Brooklyn; brother, Howard Sutton of West Newton; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie J. Licht Sutton; and brother, Wesley Sutton. Friends will be received at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 North Second Ave., Elizabeth, on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. To comply with COVID-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express its understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
