He was a member of Church of St. Anne and the Fayette City American Legion. Bruce was an avid sports fan, following the Steelers, Pirates, University of Pittsburgh and local high schools, including Belle Vernon Area and the Rostraver Township local recreational sports. He enjoyed going to Bill’s to meet with the “Breakfast Club.” He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Entombment, with military honors, will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family offers a special thanks to Nancy Glass for her compassionate care of Bruce with all his medical needs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Rostraver Food Bank. Everyone attending the visitation and services must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Only 40 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
