Dr. Joseph Perry Pozzi

By obits

On Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, Dr. Joseph Perry Pozzi, loving father of two and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly at 54 years old. Joseph was the only son of Marcia Piccolomini and Arnold Pozzi, born on Feb.10, 1967. He graduated from Ringgold High School in 1985 and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1993, from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Returning to Pennsylvania, he began his practice in 1994. He served as Donora’s chiropractor for 27 years. Joseph had many loves and hobbies over his life. Restoring classic cars, sitting down with a smooth cigar or coffee with good company, spoiling his dog, Luna and most of all visiting his children were among his favorite ways to spend his time. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Pozzi. He leaves behind his children, Tessa Pozzi and Anthony Pozzi (Tori Mantia); mother, Marcia Pozzi; sisters, Heather (Chuck) Tidswell and Amanda Pozzi; two nieces, Arabella and Aurora; and a nephew, Kai, as well as many other close friends and family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, Donora.
