Edward J. Lisovich – Belle Vernon

Edward J. Lisovich, 89, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born July 20, 1931, in Charleroi, he was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Kolanko Lisovich. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 64 years, Mr. Lisovich was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Edward was retired from Pipefitters Union Local 354, where he worked as a plumber and pipefitter and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the St. Sebastian church choir and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Kamenicky Lisovich, to whom he was married 64 years; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Laura Lisovich of North Belle Vernon; a daughter, Diane Staskiewicz of Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Brian Taglieri of Georgia; his brother, Felix Lisovich of Belle Vernon; and sister Laura Chaney of Allport; and grandchildren, Megan Staskiewicz, Mallory Staskiewicz, Kayla Lisovich, Ashliegh Lisovich, Tyler Lisovich, Kevin Lisovich Jr. and Amelia Taglieri. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Stanley, Andrew and John; five sisters, Stella Lisovich, Mary Lisovich, Josephine Lisovich, Ann Pech and Florence Phillips; his son, Kevin J. Lisovich Sr.; and a grandson, Connor L. Lisovich. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
