Jean Ann Watson, 83, of Perryopolis, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. Born in Clarksburg, W.Va. on July 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William Jennings and Daisy Elizabeth Arnett Post. Jean Ann loved her family, first and foremost. She enjoyed working in her antique shop, “Turkeytown Treasures,” and she appreciated wildlife and liked to watch the birds and deer. She is survived by her son, James Craig (Susan) Watson of Fayette City; daughter, Sandra (Scott) Backstrom of Greensburg; grandchildren, James Joseph (Elizabeth) Watson, Kayla Watson and Isaac Backstrom; and sister, Janet Hodges of South Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Watson, on March 5, 2014. At Jean Ann’s request, the family will have a private memorial service.
