Sweet treats for Fat Tuesday

Falling the day before Ash Wednesday, Fat Tuesday, or Mardi Gras, is traditionally the time to indulge a sweet tooth before fasting for Lent. Valdiserri’s Bakery had dozens of paczki, a traditional Polish doughnut that is filled and fried, but sold out before the end of the morning rush.
