By obits

Joyce Rae Clark, 80, of North Charleroi, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1941, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Brown Conn. Joyce didn’t work outside the home except for a short period of time when she worked at The Hub in Steubenville after graduating high school in 1959. Rather, she tirelessly devoted her life to her family. Some of her hobbies included singing in the church choir, crafting with her grandchildren, ceramics and playing cards and board games with family and friends. She treasured her family and was happiest when everyone was together. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bill Clark; her three children, William Clark (Beverly) of Charleroi, Susan Price (Khlar) of Marianna and Christopher of North Charleroi. She is also survived by her sister, Janyce Hickman (Bernie) of Columbus, Ohio; and her brother Jack Conn (Lisa) of Avella. She had three beloved grandchildren whom she adored, Breann Clark, Bayley Clark and Cameron Clark; along with several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. A visitation will be held at MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, 825 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Due to the state mandate, masks must be worn in the funeral home with social distancing and please keep your visit short. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio.
