Veronica Margaret Cowell – Roscoe

Veronica Margaret Cowell, 96, formerly of Roscoe, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Cambridge Creekside Charleroi. Born in Monessen on Oct. 22,1924, a daughter of John and Julia Andrella Mislo, Veronica was the last surviving of her immediate family. She was Protestant by faith. Veronica was a kind, caring and loving person who was also a great baker and cook. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Wilfred “Hez” and Bonnie Cowell of Roscoe; her granddaughter, Haley Cowell of Roscoe; and her four-legged granddaughter, Molly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Cowell Sr.; a daughter, Carol J. Cowell; granddaughter, Heather Cowell; three brothers, Andy, George and Charles Mislo; and a sister, Mildred Mislo Tretter. The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Cambridge Creekside for the loving care of Veronica. Per Veronica’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private burial at Howe Cemetery.
