Elsie L. Miller, 83, of Moon Township, formerly of Monessen and Belle Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born in Monongahela on Sept. 22, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Elma Pinasko Cekola. Elsie was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane E. Miller; and son, Carl R. Miller. Surviving are a daughter, Kirsten and husband Shamus Brennan; a son, Paul and wife Yolanda Miller; grandsons, Rhyan, Sean and Brock Brennan; a brother, Wayne Cekola; and a sister, Elma “Babe” Studnicki.Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and extended family members. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, in the funeral home with Father Stephen Wahal officiating. Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Those attending the visitation and funeral services are asked to wear masks, as well as practice social distancing.
