Joanna Sanfilippo – Monongahela

Joanna Sanfilippo, 98, of Monongahela, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, in the Mon Valley Care Center. She was born July 25, 1922, in Monongahela, the daughter of Luciano and Adelina Trozzi Fallucchi. Joanna was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela. She is survived by her son, Al (Joyce) Sanfilippo of Greensburg; daughter, Sandra (C.L.) Hallam of Monongahela; four grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Shawn and Taryn; six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony P. Sanfilippo, who died April 8, 1995. A private graveside service will be held in the Monongahela Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela.
