Charleroi Borough will consider hiring a grant writer to help secure money to revamp its parks.
During an agenda meeting on Wednesday, council said Rich Cleveland who has a consulting firm, was recommended by the Redevelopment Authority of Washington County.
Council President Mark Alterici said he met with Cleveland last week to discuss a partnership.
Alterici recommend council consider hiring Cleveland for a one-year contract to help secure money the borough could use to fix-up area parks and other recreational facilities.
If council agrees to hire him next week, Cleveland will be paid $50 per hour for his grant writing.
