Mary Agnes Zuza – Sharpsburg

Mary Agnes Zuza, age 99, of Sharpsburg, passed away on Thursday, Jan 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late John P. Zuza; daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Gavalya Petrick; loving mother of Leonard (Karen) Zuza, Jack (Cathy) Zuza, David (Elizabeth) Zuza, Susan (Joe) Sarso, Mark (Judy) Zuza and the late Anne Marie Zuza; sister of Veronica Monahan; grandmother of eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one late grandson, Patrick. Mary Agnes was a member of Madonna of Jerusalem Church, a member of the Christian Mothers and enjoyed her baking, sewing, bingo and going out with friends, especially to the Senior Center in Sharpsburg. Many thanks to all of the staff of Home Instead and HOPE Hospice, especially Annie, Denise and Janet, for their loving and compassionate care of Mom and help to us in this journey. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Juan Diego Parish in Madonna of Jerusalem Church at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Arrangements are entrusted to WORRELL FUNERAL HOME INC., Sharpsburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to www.mygooddays.org would be most appreciated.
