Arnold Joseph Frankie – Fredericktown

Arnold Joseph Frankie, 70, of Fredericktown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021. Born Nov. 25, 1950, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Arnold and Alice Salvino Frankie. A lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, Arnold “Arnie,” was a retired owner-operator truck driver who acquired a wealth of knowledge regarding the trucking industry and diesel mechanics from his father, dear friends that mentored him and approximately 55 years of experience on the road. Passing on the tradition of mentoring, he shared his knowledge with many friends and associates in the transportation industry. He was a member of the National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) and the American Truck Historical Society. Arnie enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, truck shows, country music, his dogs Margarite and Blue and spending time with family and friends. Arnold is survived by his beloved, Darla; son, Arnold Frankie Jr., son, Bryan Frankie and fiancée Melinda Sanocki, son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Kimberly Frankie; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Helen Frankie; six grandchildren, Cayden, Bailey, Joey, Grayson, Addison and Brylee; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved dearly. Arnold is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Forbeck. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Lee Maley officiating. In accordance with state mandates, masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Arnold Joseph Frankie to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the American Cancer Society.
