Rita Louise Sambol, 87 of Cumming, Ga., formerly of Donora, passed away on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at the Tapestry House Memory Care, Alpharetta, Ga. Born in Donora on Nov. 21, 1933, Rita was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Zamborsky Sadler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul D. Sambol on Nov. 5, 2018; and by her sister, Patsy Sadler; along with brothers, Frank and Thomas Sadler. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Suzanne “Sue” (Craig) Corbin of Cumming, Ga.; two grandsons, Sam (Valerie) Bradford of Roswell, Ga. and Dalton Corbin of San Francisco, Calif.; two great-grandsons, Lewis and Peter Bradford; sister, Eileen Sherbinsky of Connellsville; brother, James Sadler of Charleroi; along with several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext. Carroll Township/Donora PA 15033, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at noon at the Donora Campus of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish. Interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora. To be socially responsible during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home. Guests may be asked to limit their visitation times so that all visitors will have the opportunity to pay their respects. Thank you.
