Kathleen A. Young – Arnold City

Kathleen A. Young, 76, of Arnold City, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. A graduate of Belmar High School and Douglas Beauty Academy, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Samuel and Marie Malinsky Miller. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Robert Miller; and by sisters, Rose Marie Narchus Steinbach, Dolores “Hon” Niccolai and Janet Strychalski. Kathleen is survived by brothers Duke, Carl, Danny, Donny and Ed ‘Mick’ Miller; and sister, Dorothy Long. She is also survived by her children, Michael A. Young of Florida, Donald E. Young Jr. (Christy) of California, Brenda L. Hoye of Rostraver Township and Jason (Melissa) Brazzon of Charleroi; grandchildren, Michael A. Young II, Christopher Young, Kaitlyn Young, Samuel Young, Joshua Young, Jesse Bennett, Mackenzie Bennett, Logan Brazzon, Jayden Brazzon and Gavin Brazzon; and great-grandchildren, Michael A. Young III, Aubrie Young, Ella Young, Emberlee Grace Bennett and Charlee Young. Private family visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 16 at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Public interment and committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted at the funeral home web site www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
