James Robert Totedo – Donora

James Robert Totedo, 79, of Donora, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday evening, Jan. 16, 2021. He was born in Brownsville on Aug. 5, 1941, the son of the late James F. Totedo and the late Alice Sawich. He graduated from Donora High School in 1959. He was a decades-long member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 154. When his children were young, he took pleasure in going on vacations in the family motor home, driving to Florida, Louisiana and North Carolina, always making many stops in between. In later years, he and his wife enjoyed trips by bus to Atlantic City, N.J. His greatest joy was spending time with family and following the sports careers of his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Shelley Spernak Totedo of Donora; his son, Craig Campa; his son, Jason Totedo; his daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Matthew Swanson; his son and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Christa Totedo; his beloved grandchildren; his half-brothers, Anthony and Michael Totedo; half-sister, Theresa Giffin; and his niece and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Nedrow; and his half-brothers, William and Dennis Totedo. Per his wishes, there will be no services.
