Mary Kay Panepinto – Rostraver Township

Mary Kay Panepinto, 83, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. Born in Charleroi on Aug. 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Sophia A. Gongosky Somers. A homemaker, Mary Kay was married to her husband, Donald Panepinto Sr., for 61 years. She graciously volunteered with numerous activities when her children were growing up. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities. She was an avid card player and was a member of many card clubs. She always loved taking care of her family and especially enjoyed dining out at restaurants. She is survived by her children, Dana (Jack) French, Don (Stephanie) Panepinto Jr. and Joseph (Michelle) Panepinto; grandchildren, Jordan and Natalie French, Nathan Panepinto and Abigail, Aaron and Caleb Panepinto; step-grandchildren, Matt, Tyler and Adam; sister, Joan (Ed Sabol) Lindey; and nephew, Dan (Kelly) Frich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Panepinto Sr., on March 17, 2020. There will be no visitation or services. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James C. The family suggests memorial contributions to either the Gospel Alliance Church Bag Brigade (which helps feed local children), 1181 Fells Church Road, Rostraver Township, PA 15012 or to Rostraver Public Library, www.rostraverlibrary.org.
