Teresa Trozzi, 91, of Monessen, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1929, in Palena, Italy, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria Campana Isacco. Teresa had a beautiful singing voice. She led the church choir and taught catechism in Italy. She came to the United States after getting married to her late husband, Evo Trozzi in 1954. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the Epiphany Ladies. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 776 and the Italian American Heritage Society. Teresa enjoyed cooking and baking Italian dishes and sharing them with family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Trozzi and Arthur Trozzi of Monessen; and by nieces and nephews, as well as cousins in Italy. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nina Isacco; and one brother, Filippo Isacco. Private family viewing was held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, followed by a funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment followed in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
