Rosemarie D. Costa Perry, 85, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 11, 1935, and raised in Marianna, a daughter of Mary Guarascio and Joseph Costa. She was actively involved in St. Sebastian Church of Belle Vernon. Her love of cooking led her to start a catering business 50 years ago, Efeiso’s Catering. She loved to travel with her husband and touched the heart of so many everywhere she went, while creating lifelong friendships with so many across the country. She especially loved spending time in Florida and Tionesta, where she spent most of her retired years. With her husband, Michael, she shared a love for hunting, fishing and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Steven Perry Sr. She is survived by her three children, Michelle (Donald) Seroka of Belle Vernon, Diane (Herb) Vargo of Fayette City and Michael (Julie) Perry Jr. of Fayette City; grandchildren, Justin Battistone, Jill (Bryan) Hosko, Molly Hartman, Mark (Amanda) Vincent, Ramsey Vargo, William (Tara) Perry, Michael Perry, Arlie Calderone and Brett (Gina) Seroka; great-grandchildren, Hunter Battistone, Deryk Hosko, Brylee Hosko, Brielle Vincent, Tanner Vincent, Briar Vincent, Emma Perry and Giovannah Seroka; and sister, Eda (Steve) Niverth. She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Herbert Vargo III; and two sisters, Rosalie (Sam) Sanflippo and “Mollie” (William) Wilson. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2020, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa. Keeping in compliance with the state mandate, guests are asked to please abide by personal protective guidelines, masks MUST be worn, social distancing must still be maintained and please minimize your visit to allow other family and friends to pay their respects to the family since we are still limited to 25 guests in the funeral home at a given time.
