Catherine ‘Cassie’ Lee Diulus
WHITEHALL
Catherine “Cassie” Lee Diulus, 83, of Whitehall, passed away on Jan. 10, 2021. Catherine is survived by her husband of 61 years, John J. Diulus; children, John (Terri) Diulus, David (Theresa) Diulus and Chuck (Kelly) Diulus; grandchildren, Trey, Kylie, Macy, Luke, Justin, Ryan and Heather; brothers, Charles Jeffery (Eleanor Kurylo) Lee and Robert Edward (Donna) Lee; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Lee; and a brother, Harry “Hal” Nelson Lee. Cassie was a graduate of Rostraver High School, where she was a majorette and tap danced. In her later years, she and John enjoyed traveling the country and other international destinations via cruise ship. They spent each winter at their condo in Pompano Beach, Fla. In her spare time, she loved growing all types of flowers. She was devoted to raising her three children and in recent years, enjoyed watching them raise successful children of their own. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. In compliance with Pennsylvania guidelines, only 25 people are permitted in the visitation room. Please be prepared to wait outside. All in attendance must wear face coverings. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at South Hills Catholic Grouping 218 Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Worship Site, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
