Margaret Mary Hudak – Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Donora

Margaret Mary Hudak, 78, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Donora, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at New Life Hospice, Lorain, Ohio. She was born on Dec. 18, 1942, in Donora, the daughter of the late John J. and Margaret Dudas Hudak. After graduating high school, she went on to receive her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Bowling Green University and taught reading during her teaching career. She is survived by a sister, Mary Margaret Hudak of Phoenix, Ariz.; her brother, Andrew (Barbara) Hudak of Monongahela; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Hudak. Private visitation was held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Donora, with Father Patrick Barkey officiating. Interment followed in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Donora. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org).
