Constance ‘Connie’ Bulr Bartolotta – Monongahela

Constance “Connie” Bulr Bartolotta, 89, of Monongahela, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Monongahela on June 8, 1931, she was the daughter of John and Bettina Palangio Bulr. A 1949 graduate of Monongahela High School, Connie worked for KDKA and then WTAE in Pittsburgh, until she devoted her time to raising her family. A member of First Christian Church in Monongahela, she enjoyed playing in various card clubs around the Valley, worked for over 50 years on the election board and was a member of the Washington County Democratic Woman’s Club. Surviving are a son, John D. Bartolotta of Monongahela; and a daughter, Dr. Joan Bartolotta of Hollidaysburg; sisters-in-law, Frances Bartolotta of Monongahela and Jean Bartolotta of Export; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Bartolotta, who died Dec. 24, 2001;  a brother, John Bulboff; and a sister, Audrey Weltz.  Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at a later date.
