Mary Eileen Nicholls – Greensburg, formerly of Belle Vernon
Mary Eileen Nicholls, 68, of Greensburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021. A daughter of the late Charles Daniel and Mary Helen Leeper Greenwood, she was born in Mt. Pleasant on Oct. 24, 1952. Formerly of Belle Vernon, Mary had been a resident of Greensburg since 1985. She had been employed as a custodian at Westmoreland County Public Works for many years. Mary enjoyed participating in activities at the McKenna Senior Center in Greensburg and enjoyed sewing, having been a member of the 4-H sewing club as a teen. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Buffy Rae and William David Roberts of Glendale, Ariz.; a granddaughter, Eve Annika Roberts; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Mark Thomas Greenwood of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Charles P. and Karen Greenwood of Belle Vernon; and their children, Corey Greenwood, Heather Hibner and Aimee Jackson. There will be no public visitation or services.
