Robert Harvey – Donora

Robert Harvey, age 81, of Donora, died Thursday, Dec.31, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Township. He was born Jan. 27, 1939 in Charleroi, the son of the late James and Margaret Loftus Harvey. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the 851st Transportation Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Charleroi Sportsman Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and William Harvey. Survivors include his brother John (Kathy) Harvey, Donora; a sister, Ann Vayansky of Mansfield, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext. , Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900 , where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Funeral service will be held at funeral home at 10 a,m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021.Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. To be socially responsible during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to limit the attendance to 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time. Guests are asked to obey social distancing guidelines and personal protection guidelines which include masks within the funeral home. Guests may be asked to limit their visitation times so that all visitors will have the opportunity to pay their respects. Thank you.
