Rita Yauch, 84, of McKeesport, died Dec. 25, 2020. She was born in McKeesport on Jan. 1, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Joseph William and Anna Elizabeth Marish Kapis. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, John Peter Yauch; sons, Rodney “Yoke” (Carol) Yauch of Liberty Borough, Rory “Horse” Yauch of McKeesport, Randy (Kelly) Yauch of McKeesport, Richard Yauch of North Versailles, James Yauch of North Huntingdon and Robert Yauch of North Huntingdon; daughters, Jodi “Sis” Chute of McKeesport and Jill (Dave) Milko of North Huntingdon; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Kate Johnson of Philadelphia. A family gathering was held at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177. Services and burial took place at St. Mary’s Polish Cemetery.
