William St. Clair Gaskill – California, Pa.

William St. Clair Gaskill, 66, of California, Pa., passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2020, at his home. The son of the late William Gaskill and Sara Menia Lundy, William was born on March 1, 1954, in North Charleroi. “Wild Bill” enjoyed spending time with friends and family, singing karaoke, dancing and will forever be known as the friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand and protected those who couldn’t protect themselves. Bill is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Rich) Gaskill; son, Joel Costello; and his mother, Sara Menia Lundy; brothers, David (Bertha) Gaskill, Daniel (Sherri) Gaskill, Joseph (Brian) Gaskill, Richard Wright and Ronald (Deanna) Wright; stepbrothers, Timothy (Rose) Lundy and Keith (Kim) Lundy; and his sister, Rene Geho; his grandchildren, Dylan (Katelyn) Gaskill, Shelby Bryan, Mikhayla (Tim) Bryan, Sutton and Jameson Costello; great-grandchild, Kace Gaskill; his close friend, Lyndsey Zelenski; and numerous family members and close friends. In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by his stepfathers, Richard Wright and James Lundy. Bill was also preceded in death by grandparents. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a private viewing and service was held for immediate family only. A public celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later time. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. The family requests memorial tributes be directed to “William Gaskill Funeral Fund” to assist with expenses.
