Christie R. Arnold – Donora

By obits

Christie R. Arnold, 46, of Donora, on Dec. 23, 2020, got her wings and entered into the gates of heaven surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Bedford, Mass., on Feb. 18, 1974. She was preceded in death by her father, the late Curtis Roddy; her grandparents, Hattie and John Arnold and Gladys and Butler Roddy; and one brother, Robert Majors. Her recent employment was in the health care system. Christie was little in size, but strong at heart. She liked to have good times with her cousins, friends and would keep you laughing all the time you were around her. Christie loved her family more than anything on this Earth, especially her pretty little granddaughter, who in her eyes couldn’t do anything wrong. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents, Linda and Carlson “Gate” Stallsworth of Donora, Pa.; two daughters, Keionia Tyree of Donora, Pa., and Markia Lawson of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one son, Malik Lawson of Donora, Pa.; three grandchildren, Khamarii Tyree, Antonio Harris and Tony Harris; three sisters, Karla and husband Malcolm Crews of Donora, Pa., Tammy Raposa of Rhode Island and Ruby Dillard of Ohio; three brothers, Jamie and wife Marie Arnold of Donora, Pa., Curtis and wife Carla Arnold of Donora, Pa., and Eric Cook of Donora, Pa.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Christie will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be no public service due to the family’s request. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family. Final celebrations were entrusted to MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, PA 15063, 724-258-6767. Condolences are accepted for the family at marshallmarrafuneralhome.com.
