Helen Marie Lipchey – East Liverpool, Ohio
Helen Marie Lipchey, 93, of East Liverpool, Ohio, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, in her home. She was born July 31, 1927, in Forward Township, the daughter of Martin Joseph and Justina Dolak Dulovich. While a resident of Monongahela, Forward Township, Helen was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Monongahela. Since residing in Ohio, she was a member of Holy Trinity Parish in East Liverpool. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She made a lovely home for her family. She faced every adversity with strength and dignity. She is survived by two daughters and a son, Helen Marie Collins and husband Lawrence “Larry” of Pittsburgh, Charles J. Lipchey of Monongahela and Deborah Lipchey of Marienville; five grandchildren, Charles Lipchey, Jason Collins, Derek Lipchey, Thomas Lipchey and Daniel Lipchey; four great-grandchildren, Jenson Collins, Charlee Mae Lipchey, Stevee Marie Lipchey and Luca Lipchey; brother, Donald Dulovich and wife Ruth Ann of Forward Township; devoted friend, Georgette Hineman; and caring companion, Tammy Haines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lipchey, who died July 25, 2012. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, with the Very Rev. Edward Pehanich officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Sixth and Marne Streets, Monongahela, PA 15063. A Panachida service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. In order to be compliant with our state guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, masks MUST be worn, social distancing maintained and only 10 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
