Dolores Jean Leach – Monongahela

Dolores Jean Leach, 78, of Monongahela, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, in her home. She was born July 6, 1942, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Arthur and Margaret Novotny Ramsey. Dolores was employed at Belk Department Store in Westminster, Md. She was then employed by Provident Bank, the Susquehanna Bank and retired in 2007 from BB&T Bank. Dolores was a faithful believer and as such, she is now at home with our Lord. She is a former resident of Westminster, Md., and member for many years of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg, Md. Above all, she loved her Lord and her family, the joy of her life. She is survived by her husband, Thomas G. Leach; son, Kevin Bennett; daughter, Laura (Shawn) Yohe of Hanover; son, Jeffrey (Pamela) Leach of Tyler, Texas; daughter-in-law, Michelle Bubnik of DuBois; 11 grandchildren, Ashley and Jordan Saltmarsh, Matthew Fisher, Hanna, Meg and Juliana Leach, Amanda Whitaker, Holly Des Voignes, Ross, Blake, Bailey and Brent Bennett; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Hanson and Brenda Berry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Bennett, who died in February 1994. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at noon with the Rev. Pamela Leach officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. In order to be compliant with our state guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, masks MUST be worn, social distancing maintained and only 10 people are permitted in the funeral home at a time.
