Linda G. White Conaway – Fayette City, formerly of Elrama and Elizabeth

Linda G. White Conaway, 76, of Fayette City, formerly of Elrama and Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, in Westmoreland Hospital. She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Fayette City and was a former secretary at Howard Hannah in Shadyside and Baw Plastics in Jefferson Hills. She enjoyed working with children and was a former nursery director at Round Hill Presbyterian Church. Born Jan. 2, 1944, in Monongahela, she was a daughter of the late George and Vera (Dowler) White and wife of the late Donald “Chink” Conaway. She is survived by daughter, Gail R. (Robert) Zontek of Fayette City; grandsons, Zachary Ferrence of Belle Vernon and Jeremy (Juliana Macey) Ferrence of Fayette City; sister, Lola (Carl) Boja of Ohio; brother, Thomas (Mary) White of South Carolina; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George White. Visitation and services are private. Burial is in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
