Annette Marie Petty, 59, of Stockdale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020. She was born at the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Jan. 2, 1961, a daughter of Robert Petty of Stockdale and the late Ruth Ann O’Savage Petty, who passed in 2019. After her schooling, Annette worked for the federal government in New Jersey, then moved to Fredericksburg, Va., to be closer to her sister and nieces. After more than 20 years as a budget analyst for the Marine Corps at Quantico, Annette retired back to Pennsylvania. She will be best remembered by the jewels that she wore and her hair always being nicely done. In addition to her father, she is also survived by her sister, Francie L. Rudy of Bealeton, Va.; two nieces, Victoria (Allen) Graves of Bealeton, Va. and Samantha J. Rudy of Bealeton, Va.; and one great-nephew, who was the light of her life, Aiden Joseph Graves of Bealeton, Va.. Besides her mother, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Ann Petty in 2015. There will be no public visitation. Private burial at Howe Cemetery in Long Branch. Arrangements have been entrusted to MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC., Roscoe.
