He was born Aug. 12, 1943, in Monongahela, son of the late Robert A. and Catherine Cushman Kyle. He worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 40 years as a foreman in the roll shop and enjoyed retirement for the past 17 years. He was a member of Allenport Rod and Gun Club, Charleroi Sportsman’s Club and the Belle Vernon Musical Society. He enjoyed attending car cruises and had a passion for rebuilding classic cars. He was always found tinkering in his garage where friends would meet and gather often. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and NHRA. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen A Kyle; son, Robert (Joyce) Kyle; daughter, Robin (Charles) Moore; stepdaughters, Jennifer (Steve) King and Melissa Seleyo (Wayne Chiurazzi); sister, Kathy (Gregg) Martinko; brother, Terry (Valerie) Kyle; grandchildren, Margaret “Maggie” Moore, Madelyn “Maddie” Moore, Alexander (Nicole) Storez, Evan Grimes and Dylan and Oliva King; one great-granddaughter, Alicia Storez; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond “Timmy” Kyle; and his first wife, Kathleen C. Ostetrico Kyle. He joined Kathleen 25 years to the date of her death on Dec. 19, 1995. Funeral arrangements are private, just as he was in his earthly life. While a man of few words, he had the ability to make and forge friendships with all. In honor his life, take a walk, meditate in the outdoors or share a beer a friend, just as he would have wanted. “A life well lived is a legacy of joy and pride and pleasure, a living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.” A special thank you to OSPTA Hospice for their wonderful care and support during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery
