Johann K. Lazzari – Stockdale, formerly of Belle Vernon

Johann K. Lazzari, 85, of Stockdale, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020. The daughter of the late Harold and Thelma Free of Belle Vernon, she was born in Charleroi, on April 7, 1935. Johann worked in the service industry throughout her entire career, first at Howard Johnson’s Restaurant in Belle Vernon, followed by the Red Bull Inn in Charleroi, Curinga’s Inn in Washington, the Belgium Club in Charleroi and the American Legion in Roscoe. Johann was loved and known for her great sense of humor, her unfailing good cheer and her generosity. She will be missed. Johann is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and MaryAnn Hill; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Laurie Lazzari-Charnack and companion Glenn Halt of Belle Vernon, Lydia and Carl Zanardini of Stockdale, Lisa and Tony Strasiser of Hooversville, and Liane and Thomas Churney of Paw Paw, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, Tim (and wife, Mia) Hill, Laura, Lisa and Danny Hill, Lex and Toby Charnack, Max, Tony and Gus Strasiser, Lee and Laci Zanardini and Abbey Churney; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Mason and Charlie Hill.
