James T. Parry – Monongahela

James T. Parry, 58, of Monongahela, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, in Jefferson Hills Manor. Born Sept. 4, 1962 in New Eagle, he was the son of the late Thomas and Judith Mardis Parry. James graduated in 1980, from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Fla., where his family lived for several years before returning back to Monongahela. He attended the Pittsburgh Art Institute where he studied graphic art design and continued working as a freelance graphics arts designer for many years. He was an avid railfan and train buff. Surviving are a sister, Margaret Carr of Monongahela; a daughter, Valerie (Jeffrey) Marraccini; two grandsons, August and Oliver Marraccini; two nephews, Bryan (Lindsey Santori) Carr of Belle Vernon and Michael (Katie Gogarity) Carr of Fallowfield Township; a niece, Sara (James) Dumire of Belle Vernon; six great-nieces; and one great nephew. At James’ request there will be no public services. The MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of the arrangements.
