Frank Brody – Monongahela

Frank Brody, 95, of Monongahela, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital after a short illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1924, in Webster, the son of Alexander and Mary Brody. Frank was a member of First United Methodist Church of Monongahela. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and retired from General Motors Fisher Body in West Mifflin. Jesus Christ was his personal savior. Frank is survived by his sister, Margaret “Sandy” Brody of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Gloria Brody; brothers, John, Joe, Albert and George Brody; and sisters, Anne Crooks, Mary Louise Larkin and Elizabeth Hallingsworth. Private services were held at Frye Funeral Home Inc. Interment followed in Monongahela Cemetery with military honors. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
