Richard J. Hansen – Fallowfield Township

Richard J. Hansen, 91, of Fallowfield Township, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020. Born on Nov. 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Harry and Ellen Hansen. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Italia Unita Club and the Charleroi Elks and loved to fish and boat. Richard is survived by his wife, Ann Cardinale Hansen; sons, Richard H. (Debbie) Hansen of Charleroi and Robert (Annette) Hansen of Cecil Township; sister, Vivian Docis; grandchildren, Richard E. (Kristy) Hansen, Josh Hansen, Marissa Hansen, Matthew Hansen, Emily (Eric) Schmieler and Daniel (Shannon) Hansen; and great-grandchildren, Ellie and Luke Schmieler. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Margaret, Howard, Paul, Harry, Alfred, Lilian and Ingafer. Private interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
