George J. Koleck – Pittsburgh,formerly of Roscoe

George J. Koleck, 89, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Roscoe, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, in UPMC Passavant Hospital Pittsburgh. He was born Dec. 8, 1930, in Roscoe, a son of the late Andrew and Ann Bury Koleck. Mr. Koleck was a 1948 graduate of Charleroi High School. He was employed as a millwright with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport for 44 years. On June 26, 1954, he married Helen M. Zugel Koleck, who died May 8, 2019. Surviving are a son, Vince E. Koleck (Diana) of Leesburg, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Carol Koleck of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Andrew Koleck (Tracey), Karl Koleck (Theresa), Kevin Koleck, Pamela Keller (Patrick) and Anthony Koleck (Jaclyn); one great-grandchild, Carmen Koleck; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his wife is a son, George J. Koleck Jr. Funeral services are private and under the direction of GREENLEE’S BENTLEYVILLE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, Pa.
