Millie was a 1945 graduate of Charleroi High School and had worked at the Carousel Card and Gift Shop in Charleroi for 18 years. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen and a member of “The Hungry Eight” supper club. Millie was a great cook who enjoyed watching cooking shows and trying new recipes. She is survived by a son, Kenneth DeAngelis of Monessen; a daughter, Donna (Victor) Sciacca of Monessen; a sister, Diane (James) Reber of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Lauren and Christian Sciacca; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus DeAngelis, in 1976; and by two sisters, Betty DeBeradinis and Estelle Bianchi. A private family viewing was held Sunday, with the funeral service Monday at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and administration of Hallsworth House, along with ViaQuest Hospice Care Staff lead by Joan Holets, R.N., for the excellent care and compassion given to Mom and our family during a difficult time.
