Ken W. Fusina – Mapleview

Ken W. Fusina, 69, of Mapleview, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020. Born on July 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Anna Fusina. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and the Charleroi Knights of Columbus. He was a recently retired educator, having served as a teacher and principal for several local schools. He was also a basketball coach for Mon Valley Catholic, McGuffey and Penn State, Beaver. Mr. Fusina touched many lives over his 45 years in education and coaching, but his greatest attribute was that he was a loving husband, father and brother. Ken is survived by his wife, Gerri Pallante Fusina of Mapleview; sons, Tim Fusina of Canonsburg and Craig (Maura Ziemski) Fusina of Mapleview; brother, Mark Fusina of Kennedy Township; sister-in-law, Marian (Joe) Buono; brother-in-law, Ralph (Debra) Pallante; nieces, Chrisi (Justin) Harrison and their children Avery, Lucy and Karen (Joe) Johnson; and nephew, David (Alina) Buono. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his in-laws, Carmen and Vera Pallante. Friends will be received from 9:45 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi, with a Mass of Christian burial following at 10 a.m. CARL J.
