Constance ‘Connie’ J. Gaul Ceccarelli – North Belle Vernon

Constance “Connie” J. Gaul Ceccarelli, 88, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born April 16, 1932, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late John William Stewart and Myrtle VanRiper Gaul. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Connie was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, graduate of Marion High School, Class of 1950, member of the former Belle Vernon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed word search puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Louis Ceccarelli, to whom she was married 67 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Paul Peters of McDonough, Ga., and Debbie and Bill Konecheck of Louisa, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shelly Ceccarelli of Belle Vernon; eight grandchildren, Justin (Erin) Peters, Lauren (Ryan) Heald, Benjamin William Konecheck, Joshua (Emily) Konecheck, Christopher (Kelly) Ceccarelli, Jennifer (Andrew) Popelas, Charles R. ‘Ziggy’ Biksey and Samantha Biksey; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Marilee Stark of Zanesville, Ohio and Judith Moody of North Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Baldwin. Private family visitation was held Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Bill Feeney as celebrant. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Constance Ceccarelli to the North Belle Vernon Fire Department.
