Salvation Army in Monessen hosts Red Kettle Popup Event

The Salvation Army in Monessen hosted a Red Kettle Popup Event Saturday at various businesses throughout the Mid-Mon Valley. Participating businesses collected monetary donations for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign: Rescue Christmas, in addition to collecting Christmas gifts for local families in need. Featuring DJ Galiffa and Santa Claus, Commanding Officer Capt. Susan Thwaite was joined on the back of a double deuce truck, celebrating with music and socially distanced fun along each stop in the community.
