Timothy Morgan – Donora

Timothy Morgan, 52, of Donora, passed away on Nov. 26, 2020, at Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was diagnosed with spina bifida on the day he was born, but he rose above his condition and lived his life to the fullest with great accomplishments, such as break dancing, wrestling in high school and wheelchair racing in the Special Olympics, which took him to the state finals. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia E. Burd; paternal grandparents, Margaret M. Morgan and Stanley R. Morgan; aunt, Judith Lowther; and fraternal grandparents, Althea Burd and Arley Burd. Timothy is survived by his father, George W. Burd; two sisters, Robin Taylor and Margaret Watkins; as well as nieces and nephews who felt more like adoptive children, Shawn Ashbaugh, Erica Lowther, Mia Lippencott, Marquel Bass and Tyvaughn Hooks. Viewing will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, Donora, Pa. Final celebration has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa., 724-379-5420, Karl Jackson, funeral director.
