Patricia Ann Saucier Hundzienski – Mount Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Eighty Four and McMurray

Patricia Ann Saucier Hundzienski, 81, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Eighty Four and McMurray, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. She was born June 3, 1939, in Woodbridge, N.J., the daughter of John and Julia Fischer Cupsie. Patricia retired as an administrative assistant from Black Box in Canonsburg. After the passing of her second husband, Joseph, she moved to South Carolina to be closer to her children. She loved the beach, dancing and painting. She loved to collect seashells and was a member of the Folly Beach Shag Club. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons and daughter, Paul M. Saucier and wife Cathie of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Renee D. Pote and husband Ronald of Daniel Island, S.C., and Scott A. Saucier and wife Gina of Louisville, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Amanda Engle and Kaela Reinert; two great-grandchildren, Kylee and Martha Engle; brother, Ernie Cupsie and wife Dolores of Kissammee, Fla.; and two sisters, Irene Lamano of Kissammee, Fla., and Sally Mester of Fairfax, Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years and the father of her four children, Paul Roger Saucier, who died May 19, 1982; her second husband of 12 years, Joseph “Whitey” Hundzienski, who died Jan. 10, 1995; and her daughter, Corinne M. Meyers, who died Feb. 22, 1983. Private graveside services were held at Monongahela Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas St., Charleston, SC 29425. Arrangements were under the direction of FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W.
