Harry ‘Butch’ Previsky – Long Branch

Harry “Butch” Previsky, 73, of Long Branch, passed peacefully on Nov. 24, 2020, in Presbyterian Hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1947, in North Charleroi, a son of the late Mike and Evelyn Lowery Previsky. “Butch” was a member of California Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, and he was a lifetime member of Stockdale Volunteer Fire Company. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport plant. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and his four-legged friend, Buster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Previsky, and a niece, Kimberly Morgan. Left to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life are his wife of 56 years, Susan Campbell Previsky; daughter, Renee Heckler and husband Bill of Rostraver; son, Brian Previsky and wife Suzie of Elco; sister, Bonnie Morgan and husband Terry of Long Branch; sister-in-law, Patricia Rock and his best buddy, Walter Rock of Long Branch; grandchildren, Mathew Heckler and wife Taylor of Elizabeth, Kaytlin Heckler of Rostraver and Aaron Previsky of California; several nieces and a nephew; as well as members of California Baptist Church. Friends will be received at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, and until 11 a.m. Saturday when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Todd Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery, Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Harry Previsky to California Baptist Church, 435 Second St., California, PA 15419.
