Eileen M. Barker, 80, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Collier Township. She was born on Sept. 8, 1940, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Bertha Brand Mullen. Eileen was a resident of Monessen all her life and a 1958 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the Red Hat Society. She was a retired secretary having worked for the water company in Monessen and the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Barker of Collier Township and Beth (Alan) Silko of South Fayette Township; a son, James “Jimbo” V. (Jackie) Barker of West Chester; seven grandchildren, Jessica Silko, Joey (Sarah) Silko, Adam (Victoria) Silko, Tommy Silko, Ryan (Jenny) Moore, Erin (Tyler) Hembree and Eily Barker; six great-grandchildren, Valia and Reagan Silko, Ava, McKenna and Olivia Moore and Addison Hembree; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Barker; four sisters, Ruth Turtzer, Mildred Mullen, Mary Mullen and Kathleen Hubans; and a brother, Bud Mullen. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Epiphany of Our Lord Church at a later date with information on the date and time provided at www.dalfonso-billick.com. Arrangements handled by Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. She will be buried in Grandview Cemetery with her late husband.
