Mona Lou Erickson Prychidniak – White Oak

Mona Lou Erickson Prychidniak, 90, of White Oak, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born in McKeesport on June 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Louis Erickson and Mona Cooper Erickson of McKeesport. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Prychidniak. Mona was an original Weight Watchers employee at the YWCA in McKeesport and was her McKeesport Class of 1948 reunion coordinator for 50 years. She was a homemaker and housewife who enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking, therapeutic coloring, reading and traveling with her late husband. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Roach of White Oak, and Lori Stevens of Penn Township; and granddaughters, Jocelyn Roach and Erin Roach, both of White Oak. A gathering will be held at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177, from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020  in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow. Please practice all social distancing guidelines.
