George J. Koleck – Franklin Park

George J. Koleck, 64, of Franklin Park, passed on to the Lord with family by his side on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020. He was the son of George E. and the late Helen Koleck, formerly of Roscoe; husband for 37 years of Carol Klein Koleck; father of George Andrew (Tracey) Koleck, Karl R. (Theresa) Koleck and Kevin A. Koleck; grandfather of Levi George Koleck; brother of Vince (Diana) Koleck; and dear to many loving family members and friends. George worked for West View Water Authority as a project engineer for 38 years, retiring in 2018. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed bowling, had an extensive collection of albums and took pleasure in listening to all genres of music. He also liked going to estate sales and was a collector of antiques. George was a proud fraternalist of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge 354. A memorial service and lunch will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church, 517 Sangree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. For those unable to attend in person, the service can be viewed via Zoom using meeting #446 015 3652. Arrangements entrusted to SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME INC., West View.
